Beschrijving van de organisatie

Der Verein Initiative Christen für Europa e.V. / ICE wurde auf der Basis des Projekts "Freiwillige Soziale Dienste Europa / FSDE" im Jahr 1988 mit dem Ziel "Brücken zwischen Ost und West - in Deutschland und Europa zu bauen" gegründet. Er engagiert sich bis heute in den Bereichen internationale Jugendbildung und multikultureller Austausch sowie der politischen Bildung für junge Erwachsene in Dresden, Deutschland und Europa. ICE führt grenzüberschreitende Projekte, für sozial benachteiligte und junge Menschen aus ganz Europa durch, um ihnen bessere Chancen zur gesellschaftlichen und beruflichen Integration zu bieten.

The organization Initiative Christs for Europe e.V. / ICE was founded on the basis of the project „Volunteering Social Services Europe / FSDE“ in the year 1988. It’s goal lies in „building bridges between East and West – in Germany and Europe.“ The organization is working in the fields of international youth work and multicultural exchange as well as in political education for young adults in Dresden, Germany and Europe. ICE is carrying out projects across borders, especially for social disadvantaged and young people from whole Europe, to give them a better chance for a social and professional integration.
