Beschrijving van de organisatie

Mladiinfo Slovensko (hereinafter MSK) was established by former EVS volunteers in 2010 in Bratislava, Slovakia. MSK is a branch of Mladiinfo International – a registered network with the HQ in Skopje, Macedonia and a member of Youth Council of Slovakia, EURODESK Slovakia, Platform of Volunteer Centres and Organizations.
It is a well established non-profit organisation promoting non-formal education and youth mobility. MSK informs young people about EU programs, internships, trainings, conferences, volunteering and other opportunities abroad and in Slovakia. Our office is located in Bratislava - Mlynska dolina, which is the largest complex of student dormitories in Slovakia. Until now we have sent about over 270 volunteers and participated in around 60 ESC/EVS projects and currently implements 3 capacity- building projects as lead partner.

Besides informing youth about different opportunities in the sphere of volunteering activities and its benefits, we are also working on different projects connected with non-formal education, international experiences, self-growth, self-awareness and increasing the responsibility of young people towards the society they live in and including them in participation in activities beneficial for them and the environment around them.

The main activities are sending the volunteers abroad with ESC projects, creating a community of ex-volunteers (alumni) to share the experiences and contribute together on creating a better society. Other activities are mostly connected to raising awareness about active citizenship, societal challenges and non-formal education opportunities shared through Live talks, social media, different presentations or community events in our office such as intercultural evenings, language coffee (if Covid-19 allows).

MSK is working with the prospective youth without any difference, no matter from what social background, nationality or education level they come from.
