A szervezet leírása

DOBRA DEDINA z.s. is a NGO providing non-formal education for children and youths aged 1 - 18,
for adults as well as for other organizations and schools of our region. We offer non-formal education
for families and children from age 1 - 6 and other activities for all generation adults during the year.
Our organization runs a mothers club, we prepare for them activities: art and craft , dancing, singing,
exercising. We also organize outdoor activities for whole families, lectures, creative meetings, relax
and sport lessons for public from our village and towns around. One of our other activity is organizing
summer camps for youths focused on ecological way of building and nature. We organize events for
whole community as Poetry Festival, concerts, Children Day, Fairytale road etc. but mainly we run a kindergaren called called "Mraveniste" for children from
2 - 6 years. This is focused on being as much as possible in the nature, experiential education, natural
education with respect to children. Mraveniste is up and running every day Monday to Friday from 7
am -16 pm. Volunteers are involved in all the activities during the day. We also cooperate with Evangelical Academy (EA) in Nachod, a secondary school
established by Czech Brethren Evangelical Church (CCE) a school focused on education of
professional workers in social sphere and educators for non - formal education. Their students are
practicing in our kindergarten and helping us with all kinds of activities. We do some special lessons
in EA. http://www.socea.cz/. Volunteer also participate there. We are cooperating with SVC Decko - leisure time centre in Nachod. They have been part of EVS/ESC since 2006. Recently they coordinate around 15 volunteers each year who are involved in 6 different organizations in Náchod and other towns in our region. They are supporting us in realization of ESC project in our kindergarten. Thanks to it our volunteers will become part of group of other European volunteers living and working here. It will bring to the project extra benefits, like getting to know and learning to cooperate with other young people from all over the Europe.
