Descrizione dell'organizzazione

Asociace DICE is a non-profit, nongovernmental association founded in the region of Zlín in Southeast Moravia. The motivation to found an association in Zlín has come from a need to provide opportunities and raise awareness of the European project in a place slightly excluded due to geographical obstacles. The main area of focus is the support of nonformal education, dialogue and active citizenship of local youth and to create a platform for the personal and professional development of young people from the region and beyond. We have successfully developed and implemented around 15 Erasmus+ funded mobility projects, on topics ranging from soft skills, organizational management, media literacy, to inclusion, environmental issues and active citizenship. We also provide individual consultations about Erasmus+ and other European educational programs. For several years we were the official organizer of the Zlín edition of the One World Film Festival showcasing documentaries on the topic of human rights. We have also partnered up with the USE-IT network in order to create a USE-IT map of Zlín for young travelers who want to experience the city the same way locals do. We also cooperate actively with Tomas Bata University in Zlín. We want to give the students of TBU the opportunity to develop their competences in non-formal environments, such as through international trainings and volunteering projects. One of our main aims is to connect the formal and nonformal spheres of education.
