Know and Can Association is NGO set up in March 2007 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It works mainly in the field of non-formal education and on European projects in the sphere of education and training, human and civil rights, justice, citizenship and mobility.
Know&Can is a member of four European NGO networks for project management and implementation and IVETA - International Vocational Education and Training Association. The networks include educational and training organizations, business and industrial firms, and other individuals and groups involved in education and training in Europe and worldwide.
The Association works jointly with Know and Can Ltd. which is a licensed Center for Career Guidance and Information and a licensed training provider recognised by the Bulgarian Ministry of education for boosting qualifications of educational staff. Know and Can Ltd. is also accredited as an individual organisation in adult education. The two organizations work jointly for increasing personal and professional development of youths and adults.
The main target groups of the Association are children, young people, including those with fewer opportunities, NEETs, and adults. Know and Can expertise and activities are focused on volunteering and solidarity; applying modern methods and techniques for the development of education; cooperation with organizations working in the field of educational services; vocational guidance and career counseling; soft, transversal, civic skills.
