We are an organization founded by the Spanish government in 1991 to promote the spanish language and Spanish and Hispanic culture. It is present at five continents with 90 centers in 43 countries and the Instituto Cervantes in Sofia is the only one in Bulgaria. The central Head office of the Institution is located in Madrid (Spain). Instituto Cervantes is managed by representatives from the academic, cultural and literary world within the field of Spanish and Hispanic- America. In Bulgaria, the Instituto collaborates with univesities, colleges, museums, galleries, theatres, libraries, publishing houses and other cultural institutions, as well as Spanish and Latin-American organizations.Volunteer at the Instituto Cervantes will benefit from this multifaceted reach and approach in learning to work and think in a non primarily national but multicultural environment.Regardless of the cultural point of view conected with all the ways of collaboration mentioned previously; Instituto Cervantes main goal is to offer all kinds of services related to Spanish language in the area of teaching, professional training, knowledge certification and acreditation of the quality of educational organizations.The volunteer will actively get involved in our activities , whether performing an specific role in one event or collaborating in the implementation of a full program of activities. Besides, the volunteer will be given the chance to participate in the design and layout of our main activities, providing him/her the oportunity to submit his own ideas and suggestions, as a way to stimulate his/her full involvement in the tasks assigned.
