A szervezet leírása

Kastamonu University (KU) was founded in 2006. Despite being a recently founded university, KU has established itself as a “Developing Young University” with its innovations in social, cultural, and sports areas, as well as its physical developments. Our university consists of two campuses: the "Kuzeykent Campus" and the "Faculty of Medicine Campus." With 15 faculties, 3 institutes, 2 schools of higher education, 13 vocational schools, 24 research and application centers, 17 coordination offices, our university boasts an increasing number of distinguished academic and administrative staff members. The primary aim of KU is to empower students through a comprehensive educational experience that promotes critical thinking, social responsibility, and global citizenship. We strive to enhance the personal and professional development of our students while contributing to the local and international community. KU offers a wide range of academic programs across various disciplines, including social sciences, engineering, and health sciences. We actively engage in research projects, cultural exchange programs, and community service initiatives. Our university also facilitates internships and volunteer opportunities for students, encouraging their active participation in social projects. Our target groups include students, educators, and local community members. We focus on young people, aiming to equip them with skills and experiences that will help them become responsible citizens.
