Eskisehir Osmangazi University (ESOGU) was established in 1970 and is one of the largest universities in Turkey in terms of the number of academic staff and students. A strong and leading university with 50 years in scientific life, ESOGU takes determined and stable steps in the path of modern science. There are 11 faculties, 4 vocational schools, 5 institutes, 27 research and practice centers, 106 student clubs, more than 30.000 students, more than 4500 graduated students each year, 1500 academic staff and 1700 administrative staff.
Besides its distinguished path in education, ESOGU has made excellence in the fields of basic and applied research. ESOGU has acquired international prominence for pioneering and wide ranging research in areas such as environment, health, biotechnology, mechanics, electronics, computer science, Informatics and basic and applied sciences. ESOGU has strong collaborations with Associations, socities and foundations from special needs and handicapped people. And ESOGU researchers and youth are support therapies in University. Besides, ESOGU try to create network not only Turkey but also Europe and all over the world. So we are so motivated supporting new projects and hosting new youngsters for therapy basic solidarity activities. Local volunteers from University students and sports club and induvidual participation can take a important role for pre-therapy games, therapy supporter and after therapy non-formal activities with special needs.
