A szervezet leírása

The aim of the association is the activation of society in the fields of education, social, health, culture, art, Latvian tradition, and environment. Topics of our activities are environment, inclusion, sustainable lifestyle, wellbeing, nature protection, solidarity. The association was founded in 2002, currently it has 10 active members. The association organizes cultural, educational and charity events, seminars, conferences on useful and current topics for citizens. We are cooperating with schools, libraries, non-formal groups, and other NGOs to promote public involvement in decision-making and active citizenship. We promote understanding of Latvian identity, Latvian traditions, educate about them. We encourage children, young people, and adults to think about a sustainable lifestyle and create seminars, lectures, and other events on sustainability. At the association's home "Lejas Varicēnos" we offer people to familiarize with practical solutions in the use of renewable energy, permaculture, and environmentally friendly construction. Mission of the organization: the preservation and development of traditional and modern cultural values, sustainable thinking, and action, promoting the well-being of residents and active participation in their communities. Sajátos igények kategóriái
