Valleys Kids is a registered charity with a 35-year long successful track record of innovative community regeneration initiatives, working with disadvantaged children and families. We work with people living in some of the most deprived communities in Europe, where one in four children live in poverty aiming to help them to help themselves change their lives for the better.

Valleys Kids strives to understand the needs of the local community and respond imaginatively to them, to: promote the healthy development of children, the social inclusion of young people and the empowerment of disadvantaged communities.
Valley Kids vision is “a celebration of the achievement of individuals, who through trying different activities and having different experiences, broaden their horizons and achieve their potential”.

We achieve this by working across all ages from babies to 100+ offering crucial opportunities for disadvantaged children, young people and adults, including Play Work, Youth Work, Residential Experiences, Computer Training, Artworks, Family Support, Time banking and International Exchanges. We have spearheaded the capital developments of community spaces for the benefit of local people. Children and young people are at the heart of our work, but experience tells us that you cannot change their lives without working with the whole family.
