L'ARCA DEL BLUES is an organization active in the field of education, music and arts, personal development, skill trainings and youth support, it was founded in 2013, with the aim of supporting the enhancement of quality of living and development of human potential through powerful educational and personal development experiences, especially focused in the field of music, media and arts.
Our vision is a world that works for everyone.
Our mission is to encourage young people to reach their potential, creating a learning space for them, providing them with specific knowledge in music, media and arts field, raising their activeness and responsible involvement into cultural, social and educational life of the communities, especially those with fewer opportunities, opening them opportunities for cooperation in the youth field to expres their creativity and enjoyment in life, while including everyone.
We believe that capability of young people to be creative, spontaneous and aware, represent the key of a better future for our communities and the whole Europe.
On these basis, our activities activities are focused on youth support and education in music,media and arts field.
The purpose of activities is to empower people to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge for responsible and quality life, to become active citizens and to take an active role in their lives and in the lives in their communities.
This is because we are sure that youth with specific skills in in music, arts and media can be more active and responsible, getting involved into cultural, social and educational life of the communities opening new ways to start fighting big social issues such unemployment and social exclusion.
Specifically, it is implementation of music classes, music productions, cultural editorials and magazines, national and international workshops, seminars, exhibits, contests, classes about video and photo making, language classes, youth exchanges, training courses, teaching various technical skills, communication skills, sports and community projects, to learn how to overcome physical and mental challenges trough music and arts, which can later be transferred to everyday life.
Special accent is also given to realizing social and environmental responsibility and feeling the impact of one's actions on the group and society as a whole.
Our target groups are young people, youth workers and adults active in the field of music, art and media, youth-work and working with people, youth coming from broken families, youth with disabilities and coming from disadvantaged background and minority groups.
The methods are the methods of formal and non-formal education: frontal lectures, seminars and discussion, experiential learning, learning through playing, personal development methods, creativity workshops, coaching, theatre and dance.
