Beschrijving van de organisatie

Municipal budget office Kaunas District Municipality Social Services Center consists of 5 departments and services. Social day care center for disabled children is working for 5 years. The center was founded in order to help fulfill the children with disabilities and their family’s needs. Service recipients - children from 7 to 18 years with mental disabilities, physical and complex disabilities, psychological development disorders (except for mental health problems) and their families. The center is working five days per week (Monday to Friday) from 8 am till 5pm. During the day children with disability assisted by employees do simple art works and daily duties together. A typical day in Social day care center: morning circle, handicrafts, lunch time, relaxation, active leisure, goodbye circle.
