Beschrijving van de organisatie

International House Tartu is independent non-governmental organization. It works towards decreasing xenophobia and stereotyping and increasing intercultural competence in Estonia and helps foreigners to adapt by
1) providing trainings and consultations;
2) publishing educational materials (for teachers, employers, background materials for institutions dealing with newcomers from other cultures);
3) supporting cultural adaptation process of the new migrants, including refugees, through diverse activities, classes and events;
4) creating spaces and frameworks for locals and newcomers to connect in a safe and enriching way; and
5) promoting and mediating intercultural experience through diverse activities as public events, seminars, do-together activities etc
6) having a traineeship or work at our social enterprise "Köömen"
