Opis organizácie

Official name of organisation is Eastern Latvian center of creative services that was opened on 01.09.2012. People call it "Zeimuls". Zeimuls from Latgalian means "Pencil". Center is open for kids from age 4-12 and youngsters from 13-25. According to regulations of Center it coordinates children and youth hobby education, youth affairs and non-formal education activities in Rezekne municipality. Center coordinates work of 2 youth centers in the city - Youth open center "JACis" and Youth initiative center "Draugu centrs". Center of creative services "Zeimuls" offers for children and youth different out of school activities and workshops - these are more than 70 out of school programs like visual arts, ceramics, plasticine animation, woodworking, sewing, Lego robotics, activities for parents with babies. Center offers non formal educational activities for youth - there are modern technologies, multimedia, music, photo workshops. Rezekne city youth council and other youth NGO's are coming here to realize different youth initiatives taking into account the needs and aims of youngsters and the situation in the country. Activities in the center take place from Monday to Friday and are free of charge for children and youth until 25 years. Most activities are supported by state Earmarked subsidy and Rezekne municipality.
