A szervezet leírása

Bokra Sawa, literally "Tomorrow together" in Arabic, is a Euro-Mediterranean association based in Marseille. We set up and accompany cultural projects in partnership with Euro-Mediterranean countries. The objective is to contribute to a better knowledge of the Mediterranean region through non-formal education, in order to promote common values, to fight prejudices and stereotypes and to bring together the different cultures of the region. To do this, we target youth in our actions, because it is by raising awareness of the young citizens who make up our societies that we will be able to make it envolve. We work on themes that affect them, so that they feel concerned and are always motivated to invest in our projects. We help young Mediterranean and European people to have new ways of thinking and discussing the world in which we live, and to equip them with the appropriate tools to express their ideas. To do this, Bokra Sawa uses the creative tools of non-formal education that include elements of art, culture and science, focusing on specific actions such as exchange workshops, conferences, meetings or the design of educational tools. We act locally and internationally, and seek to contribute to their professional and personal development and to encourage them to be active citizens, with the aim of improving their employability and responding to their needs and interests.
