Opis organizacije

Tõrva Youth Center's aim is provide open youth work in Tõrva paris in Valga County, Estonia. Tõrva Youth Center consists with one big youth center (we have tree floors) in Tõrva town (Spordi 1) and three smaller youth centres ("young rooms") in Hummuli, Ritsu and Riidaja villages. Our target group is 7-26 years old pyoungsters, but we are opened for everybody. For example, elderly people can organize with our help their own events, alos over 26 years old can participate in hobby education.

Like we said our target groups are all 7-26 years old youngsters. Tõrva youth center is place for a hobby education. We have animation class, dance classes, taekwondo trainings, acting class, band class, astronomy class, robotics. We organize event with youngsters on holidays (Halloween, Valentine's day, Christmas), movie nights, workshops, careerdays, working camps. Our aim is to help youngsters to do their own events to other youngsters. For example, our active group of youngsters organize every year a very popular Halloween's horror room.

Youngsters can play games in the the youth center (boardgames, billiards, etc.) in our opened room, make food in the kitchen and communicate with friends and youth workers. Due to the covid-19 we do a lot of online youth work.
