Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni
Harjavalta youth services includes working in youth house, school, youth workshop and library. Job is variant and it takes place in different environments. The target group of the activities is mostly between 10-17-year olds. In the summer, there is summer camps for children. Working times are variant and sometimes working hours are in the morning and sometimes in the evening mostly in the youth house. Youth services work is to organize activities and program to children and youngsters, work as group leaders and plan and participate in events and camps.
Outreach youth work represents early intervention in youth exclusion. The work is targeted at young people aged 15-29 years who are inactive and who need other support (NEETs = not in employment, education or training). The main tasks of outreach youth work are to strengthen young people’s life skills and social empowerment, provide early support and create strong and reliable connection with young clients. Outreach youth worker needs to know what is happening in youths world and make strong multidisciplinary cooperation.
