DTU is an elite, international technical university located in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. DTU is recognized internationally as a leading university in the areas of the technical and the natural sciences, renowned for our business-oriented approach, our focus on sustainability, and our amazing study environment.

DTU has a renewed focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and as such, parallel to the standard goings-on of the campus, DEI initiatives are integral to the well being of students. Our Carbon Team is one such initiative, and it is the team that our two ESC volunteers become a part of. Carbon Team is anchored in the International Student Services (ISS) Team - a team in the central administration of DTU, in the office of International Education - which works on guidance of inbound exchange students, outbound exchange students, planning and execution of arrivals & orientations, student well being and student inclusion. ISS has a primary focus on masters’ (both local and international) and exchange students.
