Vision : ENAR Ireland’s vision is an equal, just, inclusive Irish society free from racism
Mission: As the national collective voice for building solidarity among groups challenging racism, ENAR Ireland will fight all forms of racism by providing analysis and tools to empower those who experience racism to take action

Having developed its diverse membership base to 81 key civil society organisations, ENAR Ireland ensures policy is led by a grassroots approach, developing training, advocacy and analysis that reflect the lived-experience of those who experience racism in Ireland. ENAR Ireland provides a platform for its members as well as delivering training to develop their capacity to advocate against racism and discrimination. ENAR Ireland targets minority ethnic groups and minority ethnic-led organisations as well as mass organisations with diverse membership, to work with ethnic minorities and their majority population allies to develop advocacy tools for combating racism.
ENAR Ireland coordinates its network of 81 members aligning strategies, sharing tools, information and learning, coordinating collective actions and aligning with the strategic priorities of our European partners through the European Network Against Racism. It offers trainings on recognising and responding to racism that are tailored to the needs of minority ethnic groups, community settings, trades unions and civil society organisations. It hosts the flagship iReport.ie racist incident reporting system and offers evidence-based policy recommendations and expert analysis on trends in racism in Ireland , utilising accounts from minorities' direct experiences.
ENAR Ireland is also the Irish National Coordination for the European Network Against Racism (ENAR), a network of 160 organisations from 30 European States, with its secretariat in Brussels. Through its work with iReport.ie, ENAR Ireland is recognised across Europe as providing a model framework on monitoring racist incidents, hate crime and online hate speech, the promotion of third party reporting, online reporting, anonymity in reporting and establishing common reporting standards across the EU.
