A szervezet leírása

Tallinn Food Bank is a charity organization that was founded in 2010 with the purpose to help people living in poverty, reduce food waste and promote solidarity between people.

Every day we work to collect surplus food from various sources and with the help of volunteers we inspect, sort, and store it in our warehouse. The food is later distributed to people living in poverty directly, or through our partners, various charity organizations and social workers. Our priority is to help families living in poverty, especially families with many children and families with small children.

Tallinn Food Bank and the network of Estonian Food Banks are on an important mission to reduce food waste, hunger and poverty, and to educate people on those subjects. The work that our network does all over Estonia helps people in danger of being socially excluded, stigmatized and treated with prejudice. With the help of our volunteers we can reduce food waste, fight poverty and improve quality of life of people living in need.

Sajátos igények kategóriái
