Organizācijas apraksts:

Suure-Jaani Youth Centre with its leisure time fields is the biggest youth centre in the municipality of Põhja-Sakala. It was created in 2006 and has 4 branches that are coordinated from there. In 2013 the building was reconstructed to be a special establishment for a youth centre. This was funded by European Regional Development Fund. Every day the centre is visited by 40-50 young people, aged 8-12 years. In addition, during the weekends we offer a possibility to celebrate kids’ birthdays and during summer period we organize family events, camps, working camps, summer festivals in the surrounding villages and adventure days. Surrounding the youth centre, there is huge field for free-time activities with basketball and football court, skatepark, bmx-track, climbing wall, minigolf, big green field, labyrinth and a small field for traffic simulation games.

The youth centre is opened from Monday to Friday from 13-19. The activities run on the method of open youth work. We have different tournaments, gamedays, parties, creativity workshops, cooking class, break dance, girls’ showdance and a possibility to use PlayStation. In addition, to enrich the youth centre’s activities and life, we write projects (for example for Erasmus+).
