Escull Solidari is a non-profit organization that is working with youth people from 2001 to improve the quality of life and opportunities of people with few opportunities. Nowadays we are 40 people working as employees inside our organization (two people coordinating and one person doing administrative
work at our office) and more than 15 volunteers working in different projects. We are developing projects in the youth field about the following topics: - Promotion of healthy life and prevention of drugs use through free time activities: working join youth departments of local governments to prevent the use of the drugs inside the free time of youngsters through workshops and games. - Promotion of active participation of youth people inside our society: developing projects to increase
the participation skills of the young people and looking for new ways of young people participation. - Local volunteering: coordinating a group of youth volunteers to improve the situation of children and youngsters of poor areas of our city. - Workshops inside educational institutions to promote peace, environmental protection, cultural promotion, etc. - Actions to avoid gender violence inside the free time of young people and special events. - Erasmus+ projects as a tool to empower young people and develop their skills. - Social integration of children and youngsters of Juvenile welfare home through workshops and school support. - Workshops to improve the social abilities of youth people with social problems. - Theatrical camps: every year we prepare camps to develop the theatrical skills of our youngsters as a way to express emotions, issues, etc. This year we will prepare the 11th edition of that activity. - Extracurricular activities to promote the arts, sports and non-formal educational learnings.
