A szervezet leírása

FormaTalenti is a social cooperative based in Abruzzo Region – Italy, that works in the field of youth policies at regional level, with particular focus on the Teramo district..
The cooperative was funded in 2008, by a group of young people sharing the wish of contributing to the social development of their target territory, through the promotion of opportunities for the new generations at local, national and European levels.
Among the statutory purposes of Formatalenti, a priorital aspect is indeed represented by the promotion and development of youth protagonism and the improvement of the new generations’ quality of life.
The continual efforts meant to generate new solutions and innovative ideas for the benefit of the target population have led over the years to the development of innovative services and initiatives. The Formatalenti Cooperative manages nowadays several public libraries, Youth Centers and “Informagiovani”: public offices aimed at providing youth with information and guidance on opportunities they have in the fields of work, education, professional training, culture and volunteering..
Moreover, Formatalenti is an accredited organization for the submission and implementation of projects promoting young volunteerism under the Italian National Civic Service. Over the years the Formatalenti has involved hundreds of young people in experiences of civic engagement through which the youngsters invested their time and skills for the benefit of their local communities.
Over the years the FormaTalenti staff has developed a wide network of European partner organizations with whom they collaborate for the implementation of projects aimed at fostering youth active citizenship and funded at national and European levels.
