Cooperativa Color is a project of social and cultural entrepreneurship based on the protagonism, participation and development of the community. Born with particular attention to people in difficulty, it is open to the development of new ideas and projects.
Cooperativa Color was founded in 2016 initially for the management of the "Color Cafè" project and related activities, started in the Adelante cooperative in Bassano del Grappa.
The "Color Cafè" project aims to manage a commercial activity, the bar of the Patronage of the Parish of the Holy Trinity of Angarano in Bassano del Grappa, where training and work placement programs are activated for disadvantaged people. This place and this activity turn out to be very adequate for the insertion of disadvantaged people. The activity of a commercial activity allows, for its diversified but specific tasks, training, rehabilitation and job placement of people with difficulties.
Cooperativa Color also develops an educational project of community development linked to the territory. Within the same commercial activity, in the areas of the Patronage and in other places of the city educational, animative and training paths are managed in favor of the citizens, in particular minors and young people, realized in collaboration with the Parish of the SS. Trinità, with the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa, with the school institutes and with other cities. These educational projects, aimed mainly at minors, are flanked by educational activities in the cultural field (such as theater, photography, creative painting), by in-depth meetings on social and environmental issues and by aggregative activities such as musical events, film reviews, meetings with authors.
Within this horizon, activities with minors are developed in paths of welcome and protagonism, both as a group and as individuals, with particular attention to the approach to the world of work. These paths involve a variable number of children, young people and young people depending on the activity and proposal made, and are conducted by the educator Filippin Stefano.
The bar is a natural point of sociability for many people of various ages, social background and culture. Because of this, it is the starting point for the promotion of educational activities, collecting people's ideas and needs, accompanying them to put their projects into practice. The sense of developing a community development project in a place that in recent years has suffered a heavy "depopulation" is to reactivate energy and resources to put them at the disposal of the territory and people.
The people who participate in the activities of animation and education promoted by the cooperative may therefore have the opportunity to subsequently carry out insertion and reintegration courses in the commercial activities of the cooperative itself.
Therefore, Color wants to activate social spaces of sharing and solidarity, in which to engage disadvantaged people, building educational and rehabilitative programs to promote social inclusion and employability through work placement activities in the activities run by the cooperative.
In particular Color plays:
services aimed at the person, in particular minors, in the educational and animative sphere;
paths of social integration of people in a situation of disadvantage with job insertion within the cooperative;
professional training courses in the field for a subsequent job placement outside the cooperative itself, when the disadvantaged person has developed sufficient skills;
paths of full social integration of people in difficulty and start-up paths for work placement outside the cooperative.
