Descrizione dell'organizzazione

The open youth centre of Sauga was formed in 2006 in Sauga, Estonia. The aim of the youth center is to provide youth with different free time activities and non-formal educational activities so the young people can get new skills and knowledge according to their age and interests.

The youth center is open from Monday to Friday from 14.00 until 20.00 to young people aged 7-26 years old but the youth center also offers various weekly activities for adults. During the open hours of the youth center, youth can spend their time playing pool, table hockey, table football, Xbox, various board games and use the computers.

The youth center has weekly hobby groups for youth in hand crafts, cooking, show dance, folk dance, photography, guitar and drum. There are also various activities for adults, such as cooking lessons, dance club with live musicians, baby school and choir.

Our organization is organizing many big events yearly, like for example a youth day event, where young people all over the county take part of various workshops, enjoy good food and music and take part of other interesting activities. A big local event is also a child protection day event, where we always have a lot of fun activities to everyone, the hole local commuity is welcome there and there are always a lot of kids, adults and also seniors attending. We also have formed an active youth group in the youth centre that has had different trainings and they are helping us with varous local projects and events.
