A szervezet leírása

Unicomondo Società Cooperativa Sociale is a non-profit Fair Trade organization based in the
Vicenza area, in the North East of Italy.
In addition to the promotion of fair trade products through our shops (11 in the Vicenza area), our
cooperative
deals with global citizenship education in formal and non formal and informal contexts.
What we do:
- awareness raising activities for citizens, students, consumers,
- training for our members, teachers, students, youngsters on issues like trade justice, sustainable
economy, empowerment of economically marginalised producers, fight against poverty and climate
change.
In the period July 2017 - June 2018 Unicomondo reached more than 2000 children and young
people.
In the school we work with 60 classes, involving around 1500 students and over 70 teachers.

conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers – especially in the
South.

mission. They, backed by consumers, are engaged actively in supporting producers, awareness
raising and in campaigning for changes in the rules and practice of conventional international trade."
Fair Trade is more than just trading:
It proves that greater justice in world trade is possible.
It highlights the need for change in the rules and practice of conventional trade and shows how a
successful business can also put people first.
It is a tangible contribution to the fight against poverty, climate change and economic crisis.

Sajátos igények kategóriái

Ez a szervezet tudja fogadni olyan önkéntesek jelentkezését, akik élethelyzetükből adódóan nehezebben tudnak részt venni a projekttevékenységekben. Az alábbiakban áttekinthető, hogy a különböző projekttípusoknál mely kategóriákba tartozó önkéntesek részvételét teszi lehetővé a szervezet:
