The Center for Creative Justice has successfully developed its capacity as a citizen observer of local institutions in the Razgrad district. Our advantage is our strong experience and long-established partnership with local institutions. We know well the local development processes and the decision-making mechanisms in the local institutions. The organization has a well-trained team and experts (lawyers, psychologists, social consultants, trainers, supervisors, analysts, experts, etc.) to provide quality services to victims and perpetrators of domestic violence.
The Association has a trained team of specialists, experts and volunteers; Expertise and experience on the prevention of domestic violence for more than 15 years - administers the Advisory Center on Domestic Violence in Razgrad; Networking experience and partnership with competent institutions; implements a Volunteer Work Program and manages the Volunteer Center for Volunteer Work with the NAVWF Bulgaria; A key role in establishing a Regional Council for the Prevention of Domestic Violence with the District Governor of Razgrad (2016); Good reputation for a serious organization for supporting people and communities; Offices in an accessible location in Sofia, Razgrad and Strazhets village.
The Center for Creative Justice is a well-known and authoritative local non-governmental organization with proven capacity and a constantly trained team. The organization has a five-year specialization in working with the court and a very good partnership with the police . Local development interests are mainly in the area of strengthening democratic institutions, ethnic minorities, vulnerable groups, social services and civil rights. We have specific skills in managing public funds and attracting additional resources.
The Association is the first registered provider of social services since 2003 in the Razgrad district - intensively works on the problem of domestic violence and women with disadvantaged social status from ethnic minorities. The organization has good working relations with a court, prosecutor's office, police, Social Assistance Directorate, Educational Directorate Razgrad, St. Ivan Rilski Hospital Razgrad, Regional Governor, Educational Institutions, Local Authorities in Razgrad District.
The Center for Creative Justice has implemented so far twelve social projects to support victims and perpetrators of domestic violence; new policies and support for people with disabilities; social integration of long-term unemployed women from ethnic minorities. The Center for Creative Justice has a unique six-year experience in cooperation with the local police and has successfully implemented four projects to strengthen the capacity of the local police services in Razgrad.
The Center for Creative Justice is currently implementing a project to create a Crisis Center for Victims of Domestic Violence and Trafficking in Razgrad Municipality. Currently, the building will be renovated and the new social service will be hosted, with funds from a donation from the US Military Office, the Humanitarian Assistance Program of the US Embassy in Bulgaria / NAVFAC. The Crisis Center is a major priority in the Strategy for Development of Social Services in Razgrad District (2016-2020) and in the Annual Plan for 2018 of the Regional Council for Prevention of Domestic Violence in Razgrad District.
The Center established a Local Mechanism for the Implementation of the Law on Protection against Domestic Violence in the Razgrad District (2011), which is unique and unique for Bulgaria. The Local mechanism (signed by court, prosecution, police, social services and NGOs) has several advantages: the good legal basis for creating and developing appropriate social services is used; there is enhanced cooperation between the institutions; serious investments in social capital have been made.
The Center for Creative Justice develops and implements pilot programs to support judicial reform. There are eight projects for civil monitoring of the court and support of the judiciary system in Bulgaria. The Center is a member of the Council for Implementation of the Updated Strategy for the Reform of the Judicial System at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria (2016-).
The organization set up a National NGO Network for Civil CourtWatch in Bulgaria (2007), in which over 65 non-governmental organizations participate .
The Center for Creative Justice established in the autumn of 1996, registered at the Regional Court in Razgrad (Decision 37 / 09.04.1997). The Center for Creative Justice is a voluntary and independent Resource Center established as a non-profit legal entity in accordance with the provisions of the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act.
