Together Cyprus is a relatively newly established non governmental and non-profit organisation registered on the island of the Republic of Cyprus. Officially operating since 2017 and closely working and cooperating with the Office of the Environment Commissioner and the Office of the Commissioner for Volunteerism and NGOs, the organisation is being straightforward actively involved and through experiences it has been made visible within our society. Together Cyprus is not just a typical organisation but rather it is operating as a network organisation consisting of various strings and connections, with vivid interactions and relationships built on respect, trust, solidarity and love. Since its creation and even before that when operating unofficially, our network organisation has been and is truly focused on two main aspects of human nature as we know it. Clearly stated out in our identity name and with responsibility or some type of duty for our fellow present and future citizens but also for our sacred human scope for the ''more than the human world'', we are part of the Environmental and Social Voluntary Network - Together Cyprus.

It really feels blessed to be part of a diverse team consisting of genuine, resourceful and motivated individuals who join efforts together for a common cause having achievable aims which are aligned with a greater vision. We seek to transmit to our fellow beings; to stimulate, to encourage, to empower, to enhance, to motivate and really to embrace solidarity by standing for, standing next to and standing Together with the people who have the will to share some of their efforts for a common purpose and the greater good. Having love for all nature and incorporating education, training and volunteerism in our actions, we sow and carefully design strategies together with other European and national respectful, resourceful and value aligning people, informal groups, organisations, institutions and businesses of private or public orientation which this then allows us to create the space for uplifting activities to happen. Activities inspired and made of authentic incentives which enable people to be triggered and activated to participate, to experience, to experiment, to practice, to feel, to reflect, to share and express; activities which enable people to feel authentically wholly themselves having a sense of belonging and therefore being truly open to the creation of opportunities for the cultivation of a dynamism in continuous improvement and a raw natural drive for further life long learning.

Acting upon our common core values - human dignity and rights, freedom, democracy and equality - our activities are most importantly aligned with the European Union's greater vision and principles stated in recommendations and directives of the European Commission and Council (like the Council's Recommendation
of 22 May 2018 on key competences for lifelong learning . We strongly believe that by manifesting our uniqueness as a network organisation we will continue creating stronger and stronger dynamics in the fields of education, training and volunteerism, especially in Cyprus.

The initiative began by a few people aiming to create and enhance environmental/natural mainly but also social awareness through and in between the people of Cyprus by firstly adopting and running the Let's Do It international Campaign in 2012. The Let's Do It campaign which is under the auspices of the Office of the Environment Commissioner (Rep.of Cyprus) has evolve to be one of the most successful actions taken by citizens, reaching an active participation of almost 47000 (5.5% of total population) people in 2019. Through the years , the team has expanded, formed and developed by participating in, supporting, organising and engaging in various social and environmental acts such as beach and public space cleaning, volunteering in festivals for kids, training volunteers for active participation, developing educational programs and thus creating opportunities for growth and development through education. Our organisation has a very strong inner power and wishes to offer this to the outside by doing and not just saying. A key point of our organisation is that we can have impact in all cities of Cyprus (free areas) as the key staff and members come from and live in different cities. (Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Ammochostos and Paphos). By creating cooperation and forming partnerships with other entities from the Republic of Cyprus and Europe, we visualise to be the voluntary network with the greatest positive impact on society.
