Organizācijas apraksts:

The Association for the Development of Waldorf Pedagogy "El Lucero" was born in 2010 and its main objective is to develop Waldorf Pedagogy in Tenerife at Infant and Primary level.
We belong to the Asociación de Centros Educativos Waldorf de España (Association of Waldorf Educational Centres in Spain), which has linked centres spread all over Spain, as well as being related to associations and centres all over the world.
We are constituted as an association and not as a company because we understand that the educational process has to have an impact on all relevant parts of the child environment (families, teachers, students, natural environment) equally. Following this goal the education of the children goes from being an only academic understanding to an intergenerational one, in which all the parts favor the integral development of the children.
Our objective is that in the stage of basic education that the children have pleasure in having a task well done, have the desire to learn and a sense for the beauty. This is not achieved by a merely formal and intellectual work.
In the association we maintain a constant activity with presentations, workshops and studies which awaken the interest for the Waldorf pedagogy for the members of the association as well as for the society in general.
