The Bullerbyn Foundation implements activities directed at children, adolescents, parents and educators, whose aim is to support the child's educational environment in building relationships based on respect and trust. Since 2012, it also runs the Bullerbyn Free Democratic School 'Świetlica Bullerbyn'.

Our Mission: we support teachers, parents and children in developing a relationship based on respect and trust.
We focus on work based on the relationship between the child and the teacher, tutor and parent. We want to support a child in developing and strengthening his autonomy, building himself, developing himself in correlation with his environment, caring for himself in the context of my environment, healthy borders, shaping empathy and assertiveness.

The Foundation implements its activities as part of the multi-year project Bullerbyn Village, which consists of the operation of a Private Psychological and Pedagogical Counseling Center and a private educational institution. We implement the following activities in this area:

Bullerbyn Village - summer and winter recreation for children and adolescents, where we support the individual development of children in the area of ​​their autonomy, sense of security and their own value of cooperation, empathy, assertiveness, responsibility of agency, intrsteeliness, creativity, educational development, psycho-educational and development of individual talents. we can achieve this goal thanks to the support of properly trained and qualified staff ready to work with children in the above-mentioned areas.

Bullerbyn Village Project A multi-year project implemented in annual cycles covering training of educational staff, classes for children and workshops for parents. As part of the project, 32 people are trained in communication and establishing relationships with children every year, respecting their subjectivity, over 800 children take part in extracurricular activities, and over 200 parents in psychoeducational workshops.
As part of activities for children implemented as part of the Bullerbyn Village project, artistic, sport and general development classes are also held.
The project is developing and quantitatively and qualitatively. At the initial stage, it included summer and winter recreation for children and teenagers, a development program for educators and psycho-educational workshops for parents, and since 2013 it has been expanded to include a mid-year day room for children fulfilling their school duty outside of school.

The project "Świetlica Bullerbyn" (Free Democratic School) is extracurricular activities that are directed at children and young people fulfilling their school duty as part of extracurricular education. It is an educational space within which participants use the classes and learn together on the principles related to the ideas of free and democratic education. One of the areas of knowledge in which children and young people gain competence is also culture and art. In the community center, tasks are carried out in accordance with the idea:
Unschooling i.e. a form of education in which learning is based on the student's interests, needs and goals, and natural learning through discovery led / managed by a child Of Democratic Schools i.e. self-determination in the process of learning and building a community in which equality and mutual respect are the main values,based on a set of rules of social coexistence within the community center, created and accepted by the community of pupils and their educators


We carry out missions of the foundation, among others by engaging in the international movement of democratic education and as a member of the international organization EUDEC we organized an international conference in 2015.
The area of ​​educational activity has always included as a priority the development of creative skills and was associated with broadly understood culture. We are currently planning to significantly expand the offer for our current and future clients, especially based on the new premises of the foundation located in Warsaw at Osiedle Jazdów. This place is located in the area of ​​activity OPEN PARTNERSHIP JAZDÓW, the NGO association, of which the Bullerbyn Foundation has also been a member since 2018. The Jazdów estate is a hub of non-governmental organizations, unique on a European scale, which regularly organize various projects mainly in the field of culture. Sometimes called the largest community center in Central Europe.

The Foundation has 3 locations where activities take place:

Bullerbyn Village in Świętochów near Tarczyn - everyday space for effective learning for 40 children
Al. Wyzwolenie 7 - 120m2 premises, rented from the resources of the Capital City of Warsaw. 20 children can learn effectively. At the moment the premises used 3 days a week
Cottage Jazdów 5 - in the cottage you can effectively run classes for 12 children. The house is currently used 2 days a week
