A szervezet leírása

RECI was founded in 2018 with the aim of promoting values of European Union such as peace, freedom, fight against social exclusion and discrimination, promotion and respect for the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of the Union, promotion and development of democratic values among it's citizens. In order to be able to continuously carry out activities in the local community and at the same time add European value that is reflected in multiculturalism and solidarity, we want to have the opportunity to apply to the Calls of the European Solidarity Corps program. The main activities of the Association according to the Statute of the Association are: Promoting EU values among young people and citizens; organizing youth meetings from various EU member states, providing support to young people and citizens when applying for EU programs; promotion of volunteering, solidarity and engaging volunteers in providing social services to socially vulnerable groups; developing programs to encourage formal and non-formal youth education; encouraging young people to use their free time in an organized and meaningful way; advocating for the initiation and establishment of associations and civic initiatives and providing the necessary conditions for their work; informing citizens about social entrepreneurship; education on human rights, gender equality and promotion of equal opportunities for all. The organization focuses on young, marginalized groups, students, associations, volunteers, educational institutions, residents of rural and island areas. RECI focuses mainly on providing support to marginalized groups through the development of programs with various stakeholders (associations, educational institutions, local authorities). Through cooperation with the Student Union of the Polytechnic of Šibenik, we organize various forums on the topic of strengthening self-confidence among young people, encouraging mobility and volunteering. The Association's regular activities include cultural and educational programs, seminars, workshops, lectures focusing on non-formal learning methods, promotion and dissemination of information on EU programs, volunteering and social entrepreneurship, social activism, environmental actions and cooperation with other relevant stakeholders. The association is currently moving to new headquater which contains 88 square meters of office space and is located near the Polytechnic of Šibenik at the address 8. Dalmatinske brigade 10. The offices are equipped with six computers with accompanying IT equipment (printers, scanners), and adequate office equipment that enables successful and professional work of the Association.
