DGASMB is a public institution, established since 2003, subordinated to the General Council of Bucharest. It specializes in administering and granting social assistance benefits (maternal voucher 2,000 lei / pregnant woman, newborn 2500 lei / child, disabled child 1000 lei / month, school dropout prevention 450 lei / year / child, disabled adult 500 lei / month, monthly community social assistance for a single-parent family 300 - 1200 lei / month) and social services. The activity takes place in 23 locations in Bucharest, such as: The Social Emergency Service addresses all categories of beneficiaries and their families, being available 24 hours / day. It acts through mobile teams, which travel to the field for assessment and emergency interventions. Early care and education centers for children 0-3 years (12 centers) provide early education and care services for young and very young children. In 2019/300 beneficiaries. The Social Canteens Service provided the preparation and distribution of food for 1363 beneficiaries / 2019. The center "A new chance" for family aggressors provides specialized services for the assistance of family aggressors (psychological, counseling for parties involved in overcoming risk situations, counseling in the field addictions, legal advice, information and social counseling). In 2019-84 unique beneficiaries. The social laundry offers free laundry and drying services. In 2019-1504 beneficiaries. The Integrated Complex of Social Services for Adults “St. Ioan ”provides social services to homeless people over the age of 18. It consists of: 1 Night Shelter (capacity of 450 seats) - services provided: accommodation, food, sanitation products and objects, medical services and basic care. In 2019: 800 beneficiaries. 2 The day center for social integration / reintegration provides assessment and social counseling services for social integration / reintegration; psychological assessment and counseling; specialized medical consultation; food; relaxation activities, drawing and painting workshop, health education sessions, etc. In 2019: 136 beneficiaries. Residential Center “St. Teodora” Residential component - services provided: hosting; socio-medical care depending on the diagnosis and the degree of dependence of the person (personal care, medical services, functional recovery services); psychosocial counseling and therapies; laundry and ironing services; body care and housekeeping daily or whenever needed; hairdressing services; providing the necessary food according to the hygiene norms. In 2019: 155 beneficiaries. The socio-medical home care component has the role of identifying the needs of home socio-medical care services for the elderly in Bucharest, monitoring and verifying the socio-medical home care services provided to the beneficiaries. In 2019-139 unique beneficiaries. The Berceni Residential Care and Assistance Center for Dependent Persons provided specialized services for 270 beneficiaries in 2019. The Darvari Residential Care and Assistance Center for Dependent Persons operated until August 1, 2020 as a residential socio-medical care unit, intended for the socio-medical care of persons in a situation of functional dependence. The capacity of the center was 27 seats. In 2019, there were 25 beneficiaries. Regina Maria Social Polyclinic, in partnership with the Regina Maria Social Innovation Foundation, provides homeless and medically insured persons: medical services (internal medicine 1748/2019, gynecology 244/2019, cardiology, ultrasound 210/2019, laboratory 530/2019, ENT, dentistry 2589/2019, dermatology, ophthalmology 256 consultations / 2019); psychological services - 221 sessions / 2019, 205 psychological evaluations / 2019; social services. The OMINIS social services complex hosts numerous services, including the Social Canteen. From Monday to Friday, the program "Community soup, everyone at the table!", In partnership with S.C. MEGA IMAGE SRL - offering a hot meal for people in need, in Bucharest. In 2019, 396 beneficiaries and 15,351 portions of food distributed / program. Day Center for Children with Autism of the Association We Overcome Autism, Day Center for Young People with Down Syndrome - Down Plus Association, Joy Place / Playground for Children with Disabilities of the I Want to Walk Association operates in the OMINIS Complex, in the basis of partnership agreements, through which DGASMB provides space and settlement of utility costs. Every week, on Saturday, a team of volunteers from the A hot meal Association cooks a hot meal in Cantina Ominis, which it distributes directly to the beneficiaries (about 100 people without shelter / week).
