ReAct started in October 2017 as an idea to carry the passion for music, arts and sports and explore the potential to create innovative methods in youth work within these domains.

We organize activities of local and international character that support young people to explore their talents and creativity. Thanks to the multicultural society in Luxembourg, we work with volunteers of different origin and background. We organize international youth exchanges that allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together and work on shared projects for short periods (mostly 7 days).

Our goals submerge within promoting the values of European citizenship, active participation and solidarity. At the end of 2018, our volunteers started to work on an idea to create a starters pack for newcomers in Luxembourg which was developed as a local solidarity project and approved. It was the first more serious local activity that ReAct supported in 2019-2020 and we were all very excited about it. The volunteers were of Luxembourgish, French, Balkan and Arabic origin.

Apart from youth exchanges and the above mentioned local solidarity project, we launched a strategic partnership project in 2019 that allows three of our most reliable partners to learn more on our successful practices with music as a tool of self-expression. We also delivered a training course about how music can be used as a tool of self-expression in youth work.

We are based in 'The office' co-working place in Luxembourg city where all the members and volunteers meet to discuss ideas and plan future actions.
