Opis organizacije
MTÜ Tunne is a nonprofit youth organization that operates in Estonia, Pärnu county. The NPO-s purpose is to add more life to Pärnu county by organizing different cultural events and helping other youngsters to do so as well.
By the way, “tunne” in english means “feeling”.
On our events we introduce how to live more environmentally friendly and how to make the first steps towards being a better me and greener nature. We would like to be role models to youngsters, show that everything is possible!
We organize workshops and lectures on different topics ranging from being an active person to organizing events. We have trained a lot of young people to organize events, to market and talked to them on our experience of how to not burn through. We have been helping local youngsters and supporting them in writing projects and realizing them.
Also we are working towards adding more topics on mental health and well-being to our projects and events. It is such an underestimated topic in Estonian education system.
Some of our projects are: the festival of Enjoyment “Feeling”, study on 20-30 y.o. people living in Pärnu county, media conference “Feel the media”, scholarships for active youngsters “Noore Hakkaja stipendium” and series of events in Pärnu Old town.
We work side by side with many organisations and people located in Pärnu. For example youth- and innovation centre HUUB, yoga teachers, entrepreneurs, who value self-development and the youth council of Pärnu city.
