A szervezet leírása

The UpDoo World association is a non-profit organization whose name means do something concrete (do), looking up to the sky (up), for the world. Founded in 2016 by the musician and composer Lorenzo
Frizzera, the association counts on the support of numerous volunteers and the participation of the local music community in their activities.

UpDoo World's mission is to carry out social development projects using music as a vehicle for human relationship, integration, inclusion and transmission of cultural values (www.updoo.it/world). If the effect
of the various activities of the association is to economically support some social projects in developing countries, the main intent is to create a cultural bridge between different areas of our planet, promoting
awareness and development of unity in our diversity. In this sense, the interaction between different musical cultures turns out to be an extraordinary means to this end.

The design and production of the low cost 'Chiquitica' guitar is a paradigm of this attitude, which is the basis of every UpDoo World activities; in fact, for every guitar that the association sells in Europe,
another one is produced to be sent to poor countries, creating an ideal bridge in which the two twin objects become means for the development of one human relationship and not a simple economic
transaction, from the richest to the poorest countries, for philanthropic purposes only.
