DENKMALSOZIAL gGmbH runs social and ecologically sustainable projects in Leipzig. Our core aim is to bring people together so that no one has to feel lonely or be alone. We put a special focus on bringing senior citizens and people with disabilities into the midst of social life. Of course we also try to engage with all kinds of people besides that too. If someone needs help dealing with their everyday life, we arrange for a neighbor who wants to provide voluntary support. We believe and want to encourage that everyone can actively participate in shaping their living environment.
For example, we cultivate community gardens where everyone can grow fruit and vegetables together. We also organize workshops/courses for young and old. Children and young people can learn a lot during their vacations with us. We organize festivals and exhibitions and want everyone to enjoy art and culture.

Die DENKMALSOZIAL gGmbH betreibt soziale und ökologisch nachhaltige Projekte in Leipzig. Unser Hauptziel ist es, Menschen zusammenzubringen, damit sich niemand einsam oder allein fühlen muss.
Ein besonderes Augenmerk legen wir darauf, Senioren und Menschen mit Behinderungen in die Mitte des gesellschaftlichen Lebens zu bringen.
Natürlich versuchen wir auch darüber hinaus, uns mit allen möglichen Menschen zu beschäftigen. Wenn jemand Hilfe bei der Bewältigung seines Alltags braucht, vermitteln wir einen Nachbarn, der ehrenamtlich Unterstützung leisten möchte.

Wir glauben und wollen dazu ermutigen, dass sich jeder aktiv an der Gestaltung seines Lebensumfeldes beteiligen kann. Wir legen zum Beispiel Gemeinschaftsgärten an, in denen alle gemeinsam Obst und Gemüse anbauen können. Wir organisieren auch Workshops/Kurse und Feste für Jung und Alt. In unserem Sommerprogramm können Kinder und Jugendliche viel über Gartenarbeit und Kreativität lernen. Wir organisieren Feste und Ausstellungen und wollen, dass jeder Kunst und Kultur genießen kann.
