Be part of our nature park team:

A nature park is a protected landscape area that has developed from the interaction of man and nature. Often these are landscape areas that have taken on their present form over the course of centuries and are to be preserved by the people who live and work here through careful forms of land use and landscape conservation. In the nature park, this cultural landscape of particular beauty is made accessible to visitors through special facilities and made accessible as a recreational area.

Experience nature - understand nature

Under this motto, visitors to the nature park are motivated to perceive their environment consciously and to treat it in an environmentally friendly manner. Experience-oriented forms of imparting knowledge play a special role here. In a playful way, the visitor can experience and understand the connection between landscape and culture of the respective region. This is done on nature trails, through thematic paths, at information points or within the framework of guided tours.

As a volunteer, you will support the nature park team in many different activities to gain some insights into the management of protected areas. This means that you will actively participate in our guided nature tours with adults and children, help with the daily administrative work of the nature park as well as support us with maintenance work of the infrastructure (repairing hiking trails, setting up information boards etc.).
