Opis organizacije

Skate Club Varna was established in 1999. Its main goal is to promote and develop skateboarding and urban street culture. The mission of Skate Club Varna is to promote skateboarding as a safe and healthy way of transportation in an urban environment and the general idea of ​​the need for physical activity of young people.

To achieve its main goal, the club performs the following activities: organizing skateboard competitions at local and international level; training of those wishing to skateboard; represents the sport of skateboarding before state and municipal authorities; plans, prepares and implements public projects and initiatives, sports and cultural events related to skateboarding; design and construction of equipment, sports complexes, parks and facilities, as well as separate places necessary for the practice of skateboarding;

The club supports the development of sportsmanship and the promotion of skateboarding as a sport in Varna and the region. He has been trying to maintain an indoor skate park for years. Currently, the park operates in an expanded version and it organizes both training and competitions, and free practicing of skateboarding, blading, scooters and BMX. The skate park has a workshop for repairing and building skate equipment. Additionally, concerts, screenings, art bazaars, meetings, lectures and trainings are held on the territory of the skate park. One of the most important activities at the moment is the shooting of educational videos and videos to promote skate and skate culture.

The club is a full member of the Bulgarian Skateboard Federation and has a methodology for training skateboard instructors. Skate Club Varna conducts regular skateboard trainings for age groups from 6 to 35 years, organizes an annual competition part of the national round of skateboarding and prepares registered competitors. The skate club is actively involved in the organization of skate activities and events during youth events and festivals in Varna and the country such as FUNCITY, FUNCITY +, Car Free Day, Щък Тук-Там, Extreme Summer Fest, Extreme Connection and others. The members of the club participate in the design and construction of the skate parks in Varna, Dobrich, Sofia, Burgas, Tsarevo, Stara Zagora, Primorsko.
