Opis organizacije

The VERY ILLUSTRE AYUNTAMIENTO DE REQUENA (hereinafter M.I AYUNTAMIENTO DE REQUENA) is a public institution that is responsible for carrying out all administrative tasks that have competence within the municipality and to provide services to citizens among other functions of a local nature.
Among the social resources managed and represented by the City Council, is the Municipal Occupational Centre of Requena where the volunteer activities of this project will be carried out.
The Municipal Occupational Centre of Requena (hereinafter COM Requena) is a Centre that serves adults with intellectual disabilities.
Owned and managed by the municipality, it is financially funded by the Regional Ministry of Social Welfare and the M.I. REQUENA TOWN COUNCIL.
It has a maximum of 48 places, although it currently attends 42 users with different support needs.
The main objective is to offer a specialised attention to the people with intellectual disabilities so that they can have a life as normalised as possible, in order to achieve their labour and social inclusion.
In this way, the aim is to achieve an improvement in the quality of life of the people and their families.
The people assisted reside in the different villages of the region: Barrio Arroyo, Casas del Río, El Pontón, Los Isidros, Los Pedrones, Requena and San Antonio.


El MUY ILUSTRE AYUNTAMIENTO DE REQUENA (en adelante M.I AYUNTAMIENTO DE REQUENA) es una Institución pública que se encarga de llevar a cabo todas las tareas administrativas de las que tenga competencia dentro del municipio y de ofrecer servicios a la ciudadanía entre otras funciones de índole local.
Entre los recursos sociales que gestiona y representa el Ayuntamiento, se encuentra el Centro Ocupacional Municipal de Requena dónde se realizaran las actividades de voluntariado de este proyecto.
El Centro Ocupacional Municipal de Requena (en adelante COM Requena) es un Centro que atiende a Personas Adultas con Discapacidad Intelectual.
De titularidad y gestión municipal, está financiado económicamente por la Conselleria de Bienestar Social así como el M.I AYUNTAMIENTO DE REQUENA.
Dispone de un máximo de 48 plazas, aunque actualmente atiende a 42 usuarios con diferentes necesidades de apoyo.
El objetivo principal es ofrecer una atención especializada a las personas con discapacidad intelectual para que puedan tener una vida lo más normalizada posible, de cara a conseguir lograr su inclusión tanto laboral como social.
De esta manera, se persigue conseguir una mejora en la calidad de vida de las personas y sus familias.
Las personas atendidas residen en los diferentes pueblos de la comarca: Barrio Arroyo, Casas del Río, El Pontón, Los Isidros, Los Pedrones, Requena y San Antonio.
