Przedszkole Samorządowe nr 23 is located in Kielce at Fabryczna Street. It is a quiet part of the city, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The facility, in all its dimensions, consists of five didactic and play rooms. There are three playrooms on the ground floor of the building, and two more playrooms upstairs. All didactic and educational rooms are used for learning, relaxation and fun. They are equipped with appropriate appliances, furniture, small equipment that correspond to the age of children by standards. Each of the rooms has different play corners. During the year, these corners evolve in line with the changing subject matter, the passage of time and, above all, the needs and interests of children. This way of organizing didactic, educational and play rooms favors the development and stimulation of the activity of children in all age categories. The kindergarten building is situated in the central point of the ground. The external area of the facility is also used for teaching, educational and play purposes. Mainly due to the green garden and the built playground. The square in question includes equipment that stimulates movement, physical activity, as well as single and team games. These are slides, swings, carousels, ladders, a locomotive.
The kindergarten in its domain implements the goals and tasks resulting from the Act on the Education System and the executive acts issued on its basis. The priority of the facility's work is to support the individual development of every little person, entrusted by parents, guardians of this facility, psychological and pedagogical help, creating conditions that will enable the maintenance of a sense of national, linguistic, ethnic and religious identity. As the main determinant in this matter, the kindergarten set itself the goal of supporting the comprehensive development of the child, in accordance with its development potential, both in relations with the environment as well as in socio-cultural relations with peers. In their didactic and educational activities, the staff aims to learn about the innate cognitive abilities of the student, the speed of his mental processes, recognizing the relationships between objects, and learning new rules. In addition, he analyzes and learns about the resources crystallized in children, the possibility of their perception and the differentiation of their intellectual abilities already at this stage. All employees of the facility are highly aware of the hierarchy of the most important functions in the mental, psychomotor, social and physical development of children. These are teachers who, in their work, follow the most important idea of pedagogy introduced by Janusz Korczak, which states that a child is a person who has the right to be treated with dignity, respect, happiness, and to satisfy needs and achieve success according to his strength and possibilities.
