A szervezet leírása
The Junge Stadt gGmbH is a non-profit organisation and recognized institution of child and youth welfare, which individually supports young people and young adults on their way to an independent and responsible life. The offer includes two residential groups in Bremen, as well as two youth centers in Gröpelingen and Oslebshausen. The overriding goal is to arouse interest in young people in meaningful activities and to offer them a safe place. They should experience themselves as a creative part of a community, develop self-confidence and of course have fun.
The youth centers in Gröpelingen and Oselbshausen are open youth work institutions. The offers are aimed at children, adolescents and young adults between the ages of 10 and 25.
The work focuses on: integration, prevention, participation, youth education, social participation, sport, health, self- assertion and music. Interest groups and constantly changing program items are offered in the open area. The aim of the offers is to promote participation, inclusion, equal opportunities, diversity and personal development, as well as providing a shelter for young people in the district.
The main activities in the youth centre will be: supporting the youth workers in their daily tasks mainly in the areas of sports, health and movement. Next to that there is room for the own ideas of the volunteer and they can also do crafts, music and gardening together with the visitors of the youth centre.
