A szervezet leírása

Latitudes Jeunes Liège (or LJ) is a non profit organisation which aims are
- To contribute to the physical, mental and social well being of children and youth in relation with its environment;
- To encourage responsible, active, critical and solidarity citizenship among children and young people by offering them the opportunity to know and think about society realities; to develop responsible and participative behaviours in relation with its environment;
- To develop activities within the frame of the youth organisation; to plan, implement and evaluate them respecting the programme developed by the youth organisation.

Its main activities are:
- to provide places for children and parents to meet
- to organise afterschool programme for children (Ecole de Devoirs)
- to organise summer camp leaders training
- to manage a games library
- to provide support and coaching for "projets jeunes"
- to organise summer camp and holidays camp for children and youth
- to organise workshops for schools
LJ is active in the Liege province and most of its activities are taking place in Liège city. Its main target group is children and youth from 2.5 years old until 25 years old. In some part, it also includes the future youth workers.
