The founding of the Zukunft Bildungswerk in 2015 goes back to the initiative of the Essen resident Turgay Tahtabas, who himself has a history of integration and has always volunteered - parallel to his work at Essen's garbage disposal - in social initiatives, parents' initiatives, integration policy (integration council) and as a Educational Ambassadors of the Turkish community. Based on this experience and the desire to set up your own projects, the Zukunft Bildungswerk was founded.
The Zukunft Bildungswerk has organizational experience in educational projects in several districts of Essen. With our 8 locations and more than 10 partner schools and daycare centers, we reach over 1,600 children. Thanks to our language support and cultural offers, we are well connected in the Essen area. Thanks to the multilingual educational advisors, we have a strong connection to children, young people and their parents with and without migration and refugee experience. In district work, in education and in cultural events for/with children, we are a dynamic and innovative partner and can adapt flexibly to requirements.
