The local branch of the French Red Cross (FRC) in Bagneux (near Paris) welcomes volunteers since 2018.

The FRC, an officially recognized non-profit organisation, is a single legal entity but it is organised in the territory into local branches. It offers volunteers the possibility to carry out a large number of activities in the fields of health, autonomy, youth, emergency, social actions and international solidarity. The participation of volunteers is essential for the implementation of the diversity of projects carried out by the association. The headquarters are based near Paris (Montrouge) where a national team works on the volunteering strategy of the organisation, and benefit from the quality label to ensure the right coordination of the projects in the whole territory, handling administrative and financial topics. It works very closely with the local structures of the FRC who host European volunteers across the regions.

The FRC branch of Bagneux is composed of approximately 160 local volunteers. Young european volunteers welcome in Bagneux will mostly be involved in projects with homeless people in the city to fight against social exclusion and to carry out first aid and emergency actions and trainings.
