Salva Vita Foundation was established in 1993 with the mission to foster the inclusion of disabled people into society and to build an inclusive and diverse society. The focus of the organization is to support disabled people into open employment and help them to live independently.
The organization has 14 colleagues (and 1 dog), and is working with many external experts, including disabled people. The organization also works with volunteers.
1. Services for disabled clients
Salva Vita has introduced Supported Employment in Hungary in 1996. Supported Employment is a highly personalized methodology that provides tailored-to-the needs support for both the employers and those looking for a job.
2. “Disability-smart” service package for employers
Salva Vita developed a comprehensive service package to build disability-smart companies. Experience shows that the combination of the services described beneath, have contributed to a growing number of disabled employees at workplaces.
3. Social Enterprise
We run a place, called Szeglet, a Community & Experience Space. Beside the services provided by the café and conference rooms a unique gastro kitchen suitable for cooking together, organizing team building events also available. One of the key elements of Szeglet is the employment of people with disabilities in the building.
