Non-profit, non-governmental organisation - 'Socialiniai Paramos Projektai' is a unique social model in Vilnius, Lithuania, started in 2004. Salad bar “Mano Guru”, founded by 'Socialiniai Paramos Projektai', is a place where big changes in peoples' lives happen. Through a social reintegration program, socially marginalized people (especially ex-drug or alcohol addicts and ex-convicts) acquire practical training to become a waiter, bartender or cook. They also develop social skills and receive consultations from psychologists and social workers. The salad bar is implementing sustainable practices and serves as a place for events and gatherings for the local community.
