The Green Heart Sanctuary is an entity with its own legal personality, independent, non-denominational, non-profit, of public utility and of general interest whose purpose is to work in defense of animals.
Incorporated in Pamplona, it has its registered office in Lerga, and its Tax Identification Code (CIF) is G71311385. It is registered in the Register of Associations of Navarre with number 8,024. It is managed by a Board of Trustees currently made up of 3 people who do not receive any remuneration.
We are an animal shelter where we rescue animals that are considered farm animals. We have 120 animals rescued from mistreatment and abandonment of 15 different species. Our mission is that these animals receive a decent life away from the mistreatment to which they have been subjected.
We want to welcome young people who want to help us with the care of the animals and can enjoy nature.
The work of the volunteers includes the care of the different animal species, providing them with quality food, water and comfortable and clean facilities.
In addition, for 6 years we have been visiting schools where we give talks about the importance of caring for and respecting animals. As well as our team travels to educational centers to give these talks.
We also work with local companies and private entities that donate food for the animals.
