It was in 1980 that the Centre Cerfontaine was set up as a non-profit organisation (Association).
Not-for-profit). The non-profit character is a fundamental value that the various leaders have always defended. All the action of the association is, and has always been, centered on the disabled people it welcomes. Offering them the best environment remains a foundation of its action.
The head office of the Centre Cerfontaine is located in Péruwelz, Belgium and more precisely With its experience and professionalism, the Cerfontaine Center bases its legitimacy on various approvals and conventions. Our association is approved and controlled, for all its structures, by the AViQ (Agency for Quality Living) of the Walloon Region, as SRJ (Residential Service for Youth), SRA (Residential Service for Adults), SRNA (Residential Night Service for Adults) and SLS (Service of Supervised Housing).The Cerfontaine Centre is contracted by the ASE (Aide Sociale à l'Enfance), by the ARS (Regional Health Agency) as an IME (Institut Médico Educatif) and ITEP
"Children-Adolescents" sector
Approved by the AViQ (Agence pour une Vie-de Qualité) as an SRJ (Residential Service for Youth), the Cerfontaine Centre allows the reception and permanent accompaniment of children and adolescents of both sexes, aged 8 to 18 years.
This activity is centralized , rue de Lille 205 Tournai , the lodging of the residents is locate in four places in the city, but the volunteer's activities, staff etc... are the same.
