A szervezet leírása

Lizums Primary School, which includes a pre-school, is a public school which works with students aged 1,5- 15, this year we have 143 students in forms 1-9 and 85 children in pre-school. There are 34 teachers and 21 employees.
Our school provides programs of pre-school education, pre-school program for students with special needs, primary education and primary education for students with special needs.
During pandemics teachers have adapted to different methods of distance studies and use of ICT in learning process. They have worked with the issues of providing more effective learning methods for talented students and students with learning difficulties.
Our school is situated in countryside village and most of parents work in different industries connected with agriculture, food processing and timber industry. Students come from different social backgrounds and part of them need help of social pedagogue, speech therapist and psychologist which is provided in school and pre-school groups.
The local community is active and interested in questions connected with education. Our pre-school is an example of activities of local residents. The first groups of pre-school started work in February, 2012 and these groups were opened because of the demand of parents living in our village. Pre-school groups grew in numbers and as a result of parents’ activities the second building was restored and re-built for the needs of school in 2017.
