A szervezet leírása

Institute for Sport Governance is an independent and non-profit organisation registered in Poland whose centre of interest are sport reforms. The main aim of ISG is to support sport organizations in their effort to professionalize the management and better use their resources.

The ISG has participated in a few European projects related to good governance in sport, sustainable development, social impact of sport and promotion of physical activity. A very important area of its interests is highlighting the social value of sport, since it is a crucial element of increasing solidarity, creating identity and building social engagement.

The ISG was formed by four founders, experts in Sport Management, Sport Law, Sport Marketing and Sport for Development. Using the knowledge and extensive experience of the members and other external experts, ISG wishes to contribute to the development of socially aware societies whose members understand the power of sport to promote inclusiveness and solidarity. Also, ISG is one of the few Polish organizations that work in the area of sustainable development of sport and collaborate with various stakeholders in order to establish actions that might have the positive influence on environment and build the awareness among young people.
Having substantial experience in governmental and international, also EU funded, projects, Institute for Sport Governance has the capacity to lead the change in sport organizations and form future sport leaders.
